K Vanderbilt, Jr.     This 206 page book describes Mr. Vanderbilt's motoring travels throughout Europe with a wonderful chapter detailing his racing successes!  The photo in the front of the book shows a picture of the racing Grand Prix Renault that Mr. Vanderbilt purchased for his own private enjoyment!   An avid motoring enthusiest, Mr. Vanderbilt was the same man who organized the famed Vanderbilt Cup races in the United States in the early 1900s.  His racing successes also included the setting of the land speed record at Daytona Beach, Florida in January 1904 while he was driving a Mercedes at 92.308 MPH over the flying mile!
