Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1947 catalog for the Mundet Cork Corporation. The catalog features the use of Mundet Cork for Cold Storage Insulation, Cold Pipe Covering and Lagging, Roof Insulation, and Vibration Isolation. Asbestos is recommended as an ingredient in the preparation of different :jackets” or pipe coverings (Painted Canvas Jacket “Used for a decorative finish…asbestos cement troweled on fittings thick enough to give smooth base for canvas.”; Plaster Jacket “Used for neat appearance and possibility of rough usage…Two coats Portland and asbestos cement plaster. First, rough or scratch coat; second, troweled smooth and even.” This is a 12 page catalog and is in excellent condition. In addition to insurance ($4.60), the Domestic Buyer will pay $5.45 for USPS priority mail shipping and delivery confirmation. There is no handling fee. Thank you for your bid and good luck! The USPS charge is $1.70 ($0.01-$50.00), $2.15 ($50.01-$100.00), $2.60 ($100.01-$200.00), $4.60 ($200.01-$300.00), and $0.95 for each additional $100.00 of insurance coverage purchased after the first $300.00. If the winning bid exceeds $100.00, insurance is mandatory and will be added to the total cost. If the buyer does not request insurance for items with a winning bid of less than $100.00, insurance will not be purchased and I will not accept responsibility for damage or loss that occurs during shipment.
