keywords: Home Owner's Catalogs Plus Guide to Home Planning "Home Owners' Catalog," published by F.W. Dodge in 1952, 8.5" x 11" hardcover (red cloth on boards with white decoration and lettering), no page numbers (approx. 3/4 of an inch thick). This is an interesting collection of four-color catalogs from various manufacturers promoting their products for the home owner. Catalogs are prefaced by a section titled "Guide to Home Planning," prepared by the staff of Architectural Record magazine. Products include air conditioning, bathroom accessories, bedroom furniture, boilers, cabinets, clothes washers and dryers, countertops, humidifiers, dishwashers, fans, floors, food waste disposers, freezers, furnaces, garbage disposers, glass, sinks, lighting fixtures, mirrors, radios, ranges, refrigerators, roofing, screens, shingles, telephone wiring, TVs, water heaters, and windows. Companies represented include GE, AT&T, Crosley, Youngstown Kitchens, Pittsburgh Plate Glass, Airtemp, Goodyear, Henry Furnace, Fedders-Quigan, American Kitchens, Mosaic Tile, Waste King Pulverator, C.A. Olsen, and others. Condition is near fine: almost smells new. Sheets of mail-in postcards in the back are intact. No ownership marks.
