Spine intact, pages secure. A very nice man, who collects wrist watches, sent me a big box of old catalogs when he heard I was doing a research project on vintage dolls. I have listed all the Christmas catalogs this week & they are just loaded with childhood memories and more! Unfortunately, the box they shipped in had a slight musty odor (not mildew!), so I've been working on resolving this minor issue as best as possible. They have been transferred to new boxes & I sprinkled Arm & Hammer cat litter deodorizer in the bottom of the box, followed by crumpled up newspaper that I sprinkled with vanilla extract & then put the catalogs in & cover with more crumpled newspaper. This is working like a charm & the catalogs smell nicer every day IMHO. (I asked my hubby too  he says they are not offensive).
