Description Agatha Christie - Poirot Investigates - 1st edition, 1st impression, published by John Lane The Bodley Head Limited in 1924. The book cloth has a small stain to the rear cover with a bump to the top right front corner and matching one to rear corner. Some very small nicks to the spine ends. Front cover has a very small stain but very clean as shown. There is some slight play to rear hinge but not bad at all, still tight and square. Internally, neat name, address and owners stamp to front end paper otherwise very clean indeed, just a couple of corners folded down an a couple of small marks here and there. The page edges are 'rough cut' and this has caused a few 'nibbles' to the bottom page edges as shown. Minimal foxing to page edges with none to actual pages. The top page edges are darkened (also as shown). This book is in very good condition for its age, a collectors copy !!
