(The English title is, "Why didn´t they ask Evans ?"). On offer, is a SCARCE, U.S. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, WITH ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET. BOTH THE BOOK AND THE DUSTJACKET, ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. The pages are clean throughout, with no marks, rips, tears or writing. There are no signatures or inscriptions. The grey cloth boards are bright and clean, and the spine is slightly faded, (see scan). The jacket is not price-clipped, and shows price $2.00, at both the top of the front and rear flaps. There are a couple of short, 1/4 inch closed tears, to the upper edges, and there is a tiny, 3/16" repaired chip, to the lower front edge. There is minor edgewear to the head and heel of the spine, with tiny repairs, and the corners are lightly rubbed. THIS IS A VERY GOOD COPY, OF A PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT TO FIND TITLE. All my books with jackets are BRODART PROTECTED, (clear-view, plastic protector).
