LONDON AND NEW YORK FIRST EDITION - FIRST PRINTING  1930 The copyright page states: Copyright : FREDERICK WARNE & CO., LTD LONDON 1930 MEASUREMENTS OF BOOK: 8 INCHES HIGH X 6.5 INCHES WIDTH   ORIGINAL Dustjacket: The scarce original wrapper which has pictorial onlay to front accompanies this rare book. Price remains on inner flap 3/6 net. The pictorial onlay of 'Little Pig Robinson' is a little soiled with a tiny bit of damage to the top right edge. The colours remain vibrant, so overall a good condition for the onlay. The dustjacket itself is unevenly soiled and has some small chips to the spine top and bottom and the four corners. The dustjacket is now housed in a removable plastic sleeve for future protection. Outer Boards: Are of blue cloth with brown lettering to the spine and front board. There is a duplicate of the onlay but this is a line drawing of 'Little Pig Robinson' again in brown. There is also gilt/gold lettering to the front board which depicts the title of the book: 'THE TALE OF LITTLE PIG ROBINSON'. The boards are very firmly bound to the inner book and they are strong and of a very good quality. There is a bit of white spotting around the extremities of the boards but apart from that they are remarkably clean. Probably due to the fact that the book has always been protected by it's original dustjacket which still houses and protects this beautiful book.    Inner Boards and Inner Pages: The inner boards and endpages front and rear all depict a different illustration and these are superb. The endpages are foxed/browned. Apart from the odd fox spot the rest of the inner pages are in a superbly clear condition. All 96 pages are tightly bound too. A beautiful colour frontispiece sits opposite the full title page.   There are several full page illustrations and six of them [inc. frontispiece] are in full colour     and many are black and white, and here are just a few of them:        THE END.....     Place a Bid!
