This volume also includes 'An Appendix Containing several Records Relating to the foregoing Trials and Proceedings', plus an index of names and subjects covering all six volumes. These are just the highlights (if you can call them such); there are numerous other trials in each volume. The period after 1680 is well covered (the alleged Popish Plot and its terrible aftermath are responsible for many of the listed trials, and perjurer Titus Oates appears in a couple of trials). The text provides detailed accounts of some of the most notable trials in British history, and aside from the flaws mentioned, the set is in impressive internal and external condition. Worthy of a place in any law collector's library.   key words: On 23-May-07 at 22:24:37 BST, seller added the following information: Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
