A terrific lot of all 13 hardcover Lemony Snicket books! The books are in good to excellent condition, with most of them being in excellent condition. The pages, spine and covers are crisp and tight (except for book 5, which is in good condition but not as nice as the other books). Any minor issues with conditions are noted below. This lot includes: Book 1 – The Bad Beginning (appears to be unread; has a name and price on inside of front cover and first page; otherwise excellent condition) Book 2 – The Reptile Room (appears to be unread or gently read; has a name and price on inside of front cover and first page; 2 pages are dog-earred at top; slight wear along top of spine;’ overall VG to exc condition) Book 3 – The Wide Window (appears to be new unread; exc. condition0 Book 4 – The Miserable Mill (appears to be new unread; exc. condition0 Book 5 – The Austere Academy (appears to be unread; the front cover sort of slopes to the left; there is a very slight small stain on the outside top and bottom of the pages; overall good cond) Book 6 – The Ersatz Elevator (appears to be new and unread; exc. condition) Book 7 -- The Vile Village (appears to be new and unread; exc. condition; has a small dent on front cover) Book 8 -- The Hostile Hospital (appears to be new and unread; exc. condition; top of spine is a little crinkled) Book 9 -- The Carnivorous Carnival (appears to be unread; exc. condition; has a name on title page) Book 10 – The Slippery Slope (appears to be new and unread; exc. condition; has a price on inside of front cover and a name on title page) Book 11 – The Grim Grotto (appears to be new and unread; excellent condition) Book 12 -- The Penultimate Peril (appears to be new and unread; exc. condition; has a name and price on inside of front cover and title page) Book 13 -- The End (appears to be unread; exc. condition) A great gift for the Snicket fan (and the holidays are just a couple of months away!) And it’s a true bargain on a lot that would retail new for more than $169!
