Approx. 11" x 8"No copyright date, but the last page has this publishing info: AD 1335-4M--11-39, which probably indicates that it was published in November of 1939.This guide references several Crane Catalogs. One of the catalogs that is frequenctly referenced is catalog No. 52, which is included with this item (see below).The index to this book and a few sample pages are shown below. The information given for each service is the type of valve, size, end outlets, valve number, crane catalog number, catalog page number.Book Condition: Good. Price and notation written to first page. Otherwise, pages appear clean and unmarked. Edges are worn and frayed.This book can be used to cross-reference with the below catalog. In some cases, this made indicate that valves with cranite or asbestos are recommended. For example, for 201 to 300 pounds, Water Working Pressure, one of the valves listed is valve number 367 1/2, which is featured on page 150 of catalog 52.. On that page of the catalog it says that the valve uses a nickel alloy or cranite composition disc.. Just one example of how these two book can work together for gathering information. In that catalog, it also says that no. 4 cranite discs are made out of asbestos.
