Hockey Alphabet was published in 1991 by Faber & Faber. The books is a stunning piece of design with the pages printed on Fine Art Cartridge Paper the book bound in Yellow Library buckram with gilt letters on blue buckram on the spine, the slipcase is a blue-grey cloth. The book is Folio - over 12" - 15" tall is in MINT condition   Hockney and Spender Stephen produced this book to raise money for Aids Charities and asked a selection of writers to contribute some writing on there given letter from the alphabet which was then illustrated by Hockney. All 26 letter of the alphabet appear in the book as well as an ‘&’.
