With 8mb of memory, this reader can hold 7 to 8 books (dependent on book size) at any one time. The disk supplied, contains over 1000 'Out of copyright' books converted to Palm OS format which can be read by the Palm IIIx. The PDA comes complete with a SERIAL cradle to connect direct to a PC. When the supplied software is installed, the books can simply be dragged and dropped directly into the installer program. A single press of the 'Hotsync' button on the cradle and the books are transferred directly to the Book Reader. The books can then be read using the Palmreader software supplied on the book Disk and also pre-loaded onto the Palm IIIx. The disk contains many genres of fiction by many different authors. The PDA also comes preloaded with many useful programs, such as: Address Book Calculator Time Zones Date Book (Diary) Expense Email Memo Pad To Do ListThe reader takes 2 AAA batteries which are supplied.
