A near fine copy of the 1st in a unique presentation gift binding of red polished calf &  matching custom slipcase with Einstein's signature gilt-stamped on the spine & front cover. [a bit of rubbing at the extremities]. The book was gifted in 1957-1958 to the First President of the Friends Of The Hebrew University Of Jerusalem In Mexico in recognition of her various contributions. Einstein had a close affiliation with The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel's oldest University & one of Israel 's largest and most important academic centers. Mounted on the front endpaper is a miniature of a letter dated December 9th, 1957 from Miss Helen Dukas, the late Professor's Einstein's secretary, addressed to the Amigos de la Universidad Hebrew de Jerusalem in Mexico, authenticating the Einstein signature in the book. 8vo., pp 282.
