LTD 1952   [Date to bottom of title page is indication of a true first edition first printing] NO OTHER PRINTINGS MENTIONED.       Condition:   The Dust Jacket: Is a beautifully vibrant facsimile of the very first printing so it matches with this book perfectly. The colours are tremendous. The price of 8s.6d. net is present on the inside front flap. It is in a mint condition and it is now enclosed in a plastic sleeve for future protection. It does make the book look good.       Outer Boards: are a cream coloured cloth with blue and black illustrations to the front board and spine. The boards are very clean, corners are slightly frayed at the margin and small amount of fraying on the spine folds. Overall, a good condition for a book that is 56 years old. All housed in the beautifully vibrant dustjacket that accompanies.         Inner Book: The endpages have been adhered to the front inner board to hide a previous owner inscription, so the book starts at the half-title page.        The story consists of 316 pages with a final page showing Kiki the parrot balancing himself on a tightrope! It is funny.
