Produced from a first impression [1946]. Colours remain vibrant. Retains price of 7s 6d net to inner flap. The Tresilian illustration wraps round the dustjacket and looks superb. Now enclosed in a protective plastic sleeve.           Cream/yellow boards with brown and green lettering and decoration to the front board and spine. Slight fraying round the margins and spine is creased. Boards are tightly bound to inner pages.           Inner book and pages: Blank endpage too front is missing. Book starts at half-title page. Foxing throughout. Few soil marks to some of the pages and some corner folds. Several closed edge tears not affecting text.
