Description
THE FRANKLIN LIBRARY You are bidding on a set of Franklin Library Leather Bound Books. Many Pulitzer Prize winning books. My late husband purchased this collection from 1980 to 1984 directly from the Franklin Mint / Franklin Library. These books were bound in genuine leather with 22k gold accents from 1980-1984. It is rare to find a collection of these fine all leather bound books. The books were originally written in the 1700's, 1800's to early 1900's. Write me for any details about a specific book or dates. Most books are artist illustrated. All Books are in like new, fine mint condition never read except to look for names and dates for this listing. With the exception of the Shakespeare which has a minute amount of abrasion mark on the binder. All have Moire endleaves; 22K gold gilt edges (all); and ribbon place-holders. Permanent satin ribbon markers, and beautiful marbled endpapers. As of 2000, the Franklin Library is no longer. Books from this collection are now out of print and highly collectible. THERE ARE NO MARK INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF THE BOOKS, NO BOOKPLATES, NO WARPING, NO SPINE FADING, NO WATER DAMAGE, AND NO ISSUES AT ALL. All books are tight clean unread copies of Franklin Library finest and rarest set of full leather bound books. Most of these books sell for between $50 and $150 dollars each as their are some very rare books in this lot.
