Rebound in full Confederate gray calf leather with gilt decorations and lettering on the spine and front cover.  The pages are slightly yellowed with age, but are tight and clean.  There are three tiny pin holes beginning on the original front free endpaper through page 11, with one pin hole continuing through page 20, but they are so small they do not affect the text.   The right corner is missing from one page of text.  If not for these small defects, this leather-bound copy would be valued at pproximately $8,000 - $10,000.  If it had the original cover and dust jacket it would be in the $25,000 and up range.      Place a Bid!
