Copyright MCMXXXIV   [TRANSLATES TO 1934]       Published by:   THE SAALFIELD PUBLISHING COMPANY AKRON, OHIO                         NEW YORK   Publishers for the Children Made in U.S.A.         Small Book Measures: 5¼ X 4½ inches         CONDITION:   This book was issued without a dustjacket. So nothing is amiss!     Outer Boards: Pictorial coloured boards with Shirley Temple sitting on a large wooden chair and a surprised expression on her face. Small note to corner of front board states:   'The intimate, authentic life experiences of this five-year old star appearing in: Stand Up And Cheer, Little Miss Marker, Baby Take A Bow, Now and Forever.'     Rear Board depicts another picture of Shirley Temple having a cup of tea and giving her dolly a drink. Boards are quite worn and the spine is missing. The book is still thankfully held together as one piece.     Inner Book: The inner pages are very browned and foxed. All pages are present and tightly bound.   The story is adorned with numerous pictures. [there are 65 full page pictures] Some are black and white and the others have a very strange colouring to them.   Some of the pictures are named: Putting her doll to bed.   Shirley and her mother.     Far away in the land of nod.   She was going to have her picture taken.   Baby take a bow.   Claire Trevor plays the part of Shirley's mother in Baby Take A Bow.   She had to take castor oil.   Between scenes Gary Cooper gives Shirley an interesting art lesson.   On her way to lunch with Carole Lombard and Gary Cooper.   Sir Guy Standing, Shirley and Buster.   Shirley and her "stand-in" Marilyn Granas.     Shirley Tries a little make-up.     Last page........     BONUS ITEM FOR INTEREST:   I will include a picture of Shirley Temple when she's grown up. She sure turned out to be a real beauty. Thanks for looking and have a nice day!             Payment Methods:   You can: Pay instantly with your debit or credit card through PayPal.   I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OTHER PAYMENT METHODS
