I originally bought these for my father who passed away before the end of the series. My father was one of those real cowboys who worked on my grandfathers ranch in Kennebec, South Dakota. One of the largest ranches of it's time. When a man brought his own bedroll and earn maybe $30.00 a month.  I can honestly say it is hard selling these but my loss is your enjoyment.The majority of these books have not been opened at all.     Each book in this series (one of Time-Life's best-sellers) focuses on a different old west subject. Very interesting, informative full of historical value that is slipping away. Color Pictures-- each book is in excellent condition some have very very small nicks from being moved over the years. Books come from a smoke and pet free home only a little dust. Each volume is hard-bound with an embossed, padded leather cover containing a colorful western scene on the front. The bindings have gilded gold lettering. Size is 11" x 9".
