RARE Huge Lot of Model Engineer and Electrician Magazine 1922-1931 Bound Volumes 1st editions > From a local estate - Please see the other Lots of this magazines I am listing! A run like this does not come along very often! Nice lot of this magazine - Early ones! Fresh from a prominent estate in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Vintage, Old, Original - NOT Reproductions - Guaranteed !! The name of the journal changes over the years, but it is the same magazine. A Journal of small power, engineering, tools, models, experimental mechanics, electrical & scientific instrument making. London: Percival & Marshall. v. 46, 1922 - v. 54, 1926 ; v. 56, 1927 - v. 64, 1931. Consecutive run of the volumes / years given. Mostly cloth binding. Model Engineer, a UK magazine continuiously published since 1898, has been the premier magazine dedicated to model making of all types. Also covered are tools, workshop machinery, and techniques. Somewhat more of an emphasis on working live steam model locomotives and railroads than on other aspects of model engineering. Many plans are presented for all types of models, tools & machinery, some in a single issue and some serialized. Includes an index. Interesting content - from motorcycle, steam engine, boats / boating, RR train locomotive, aviation - airplane, biplane, automobile, etc. Lots of illustration photos, Large color pullout / foldout print plates, etc. Overall good condition. Internally very good. Some wear, a few rips here or there, etc. Nothing too major. Outer spine covering on one lacking. See photos below. NOTE: Looks better than shown in photos!
