I consider VG+ to have only slightly bent corners, no dog eared pages, no damage on front or back cover, and no page staining. There is no damage to binding and all pages are tight. All books list to detective handbook. I have listed the last book prior to DH on back cover. Any deviation from this standard is noted. I will also use the following standards  to describe books of even better quality: NM – book had slight whitening at one or more corners or at top or bottom of spine. However, corners are straight. MINT – book has no more than a pinhead size whitening at no more than 2 of 4 corners, corners are straight, book may or may not have ever been opened.
