Per Hardy & Hardy Investigations this is a true 1st Edition 1st printing. Overall condition is near fine/fine. The book is near fine/fine.  The orange Gretta endpapers are perfect and have no writing or inscriptions inside. The dust jacket is easily near fine plus (as close to off the bookstore shelf as you will ever find).  There is some very slight edgewear at the top and bottom of the spine, one closed tear (see pic) on the upper front cover of the jacket, and slight edgewear with a tiny closed tear and wrinkled area on the lower front cover of the dust jacket. The inner flaps also have a slight orange hue (very slight) from the ink of the endpapers. There's also a tiny pencilled 50 cent price on the inner front flap.  Please review the pictures below for a better idea of condition.   Many collectors view this particular yellow spine 1st to be the 3rd toughest first printing to find behind The Missing Chums and the famed While the Clock Ticked. First printings of this title rarely show up in the marketplace - you will not find a nicer copy.
