Indices of Awards Made by the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles in the Hawaiian Islands published by the Star-Bulletin Press, 1929. This is a hardcover edition but boards are two-thirds loose as are a few pages. There is also the previous owner's name and some writing about parking. There are a few pages where the tab is that has a few holes but the text is intact. All the information is readable. HUGE book, 1732 pages ! RARE, I've never seen this listed before. The only other version online is listed at over $5,000. It states the 1846 Act and Principles Adopted; the 1848 Act relating to Crown Lands and Government Lands; the 1890 Act relating to the Crown Lands and Unawarded Lands; the Mahele Lands Surrendered for Commutation; the 1852 & 1854 Acts relating to the Konohikis; etc. and lists the lands awarded. Please do not bid if you have any negative feedback within the last 6 months or have a zero feedback rating. Shipping terms are for US bidders only (I may consider non-US bidders only if we reach an agreement on all matters prior to your bidding. I usually use USPS Priority International Mail.). Ebay requires me to offer $4 shipping which will be in an unpadded envelope that will likely incur shipping damage and will be shipped via Media Mail which can take up to 6 weeks normally but with the holiday season upcoming, may take even longer. I am not recommending this service but am offering it only because I am required to by Ebay, even though Ebay recognizes that this may be less than the actual shipping cost. I will not be responsible for any lost shipment and any likely shipping damage. Recommended option: Book will be well-packed, boxed, and shipped via USPS Priority Mail for $9.30 (with free delivery confirmation if Clik-N-Ship works). Insurance is required at an additional $30. Seller is not responsible for shipping damage or loss.
