The book is item #611 in "Mormon Bibliography 1830-1930", by Chad Flake, which states: 'The first edition publishished by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  It is not a reprint from the third American edition as the title indicates, but follows the Liverpool stereotyped edition of 1852". This book is in very good to excellent condition with tight binding, connected hinges (but the leather on the back hinge is cracked), slight wear exterior damage, a handwritten $7.50 penciled price on the first fly page and slight edge page yellowing.  The RLDS provided a high quality ebossed leather exterior, ribbed spine with gold leaf "Book of Mormon" printing.  The paper quality is less than high quality resulting in the yellowing.  All in all this is an excellent expample of this first edition and not the customary missionary quality binding.
