Q: why is postage so high? canada has no "media or book rate", only the methods quoted above. some very small packages can go as letter mail and if possible, it shall be indicated. I charge exact postage plus 2$ per package [not auction] s&h. if you end up paying more than the amount i charge you [my scales aren't perfect] let me know and you shall be refunded the difference. Q: insurance? within canada, it's kinda crazy and varies. to usa/overseas, small packages and larger parcels are covered up to 100$cnd at no additional cost. for each extra 100$cnd of coverage, it is an additional dollar [some restrictions to some countries applies due to massive amounts of fraud]. Lettermail cannot be insured. "small packages" do not have a tracking number. Q: how long will it take to get my stuff? depends where you live and what method you choose. airmail is usually 1-2 weeks, worldwide. surface mail goes by surface, from western canada.... so... it can take a week... or up to 3 months, depending on how far away and how remote the destination is. Q: it's been 2 months... can i get a refund now? nope, first of all.... i will have to wait 4 months from mailing date before i can put in a claim [taking into account that the package may be returned to me]. after making a claim, i still have to wait for the beuracracy to go through their slow paced routine. patience is a virtue... you're gonna have to use it here.
