This handmade leather journal is absolutely beautiful!  It is crafted in India in a fair trade environment using traditional methods passed down from many generations. This amazing piece is truly one of a kind and measures 25cm x 20cm (10 X 8 inches). It is filled with handmade 100% recycled cotton paper reclaimed from the massive textile industry.  There are approximately 220 pages on 110 sheets of paper which has small flower petals pressed into the paper. The journal has a wrap around leather cord to securely keep it closed. Real leather can have imperfections like colour variations, stretch marks or surface anomalies which adds to the rustic charm of this journal!     The tooling on this journal is exquisit. We have included photos of both the front and back as well as a close up of the Yin / Yang design. This journal has beautiful flower petals pressed into the handmade paper making it even more unique.   Yang is often described in terms of sunlight playing over a mountain and in the valley.
