Out of storage space. We have pulled out ALL kids books and mass markets for Africa programs. Everything else is up for grabs. Most are gently used, a few are new or like-new (see detailed notes below). Contents are approx 50/50 fiction & non-fiction.  Probably 30-40% hardcovers, the bulk are softcovers. We throw out anything we see that looks too worn, obviously "dated" (i.e., there will be no Windows 95 for Dummies in here), or damaged.  However, we have not looked at every box. We have seen no romance novels, no journals, no magazines, no dictionaries, no national geographics. There are a small handful of textbooks, there are one or two small encyclopedia sets, and there are a couple of boxes of reader's digest that were not counted toward the total count (you are not obligated to take them if you don't want them).  Dates, topics, and genres will range, but as you can see, we tried to make sure these are all valid, viable reading copies. Something in here for everyone.Local pickup only. We are in Kansas City, near 39th & State Line. Equal mix of fiction & nonfiction. Many of these have clearance stickers on them. Most of these are fairly recent (1990's and newer). Almost all of these are trade softcovers.Approx. 100 larger books: coffee table, recipe books, dummies guides, idiots guides, software books, instructional books, home/garden, etc. These are 8x10 or larger, all in very good, like-new, or brand new condition.Approx. 50 new & like-new hardcovers, mostly publishers remainders. 2/3 fiction, 1/3 non-fiction.
