These books have a retail value of over  275.00. Some of these books with the best information are out of print and are ridiculously overpriced when shopping for them. This is also a great lot for people who just want to learn how to do their make-up a little bit better. It's a great reference library for people trying to get into runway makeup, fashion editorial, beauty editorial, commercial work or just basic freelance make up work. It helped me get started and these books and videos were invaluable. The lot includes Kevin Aucoin 's  Face Forward, Doris  Pooser's guide "the essential guide to hair, makeup  and skincare, Making up by Rex, The  Make-up Book by Joy Terri, Forever Beautiful by Rex, Milady's  Make-up techniques by Pamela Taylor, The Technique of the professional make-up artist by vincent j-r kehoe, bobbi brown beauty by bobi brown, instant make-upby sally norton, one issue of the make-up artist, photographer and professional freelance stylist  professional trade magazine "tear sheet", and two videos  from Ben Nye Volume 2 & 3 (volume 2 old age and character make-up and volume 3 special character and how to apply a bald cap). This is an excellent gift for someone who is just getting started in the industry. A student who is in cosmetology/hairdressing school or make-up artistry school. There is an abundance of information.  I dont know how to grade books. They are in very good condition. They all still have their dust jackets. They dont' have any tears or water stains, some of the dust jackets  have some wear and small tears. The videos are still sealed in their boxes. Face Forward hard cover did not come with a dust jacket. All in all this is a great deal for anyone who wants to learn how to do make-up a little better. Whether you wear M.A.C., Make-up Forever, Nars, Lancome, Chanel, Clinique, Yves St. Laurent, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, 3 Custom Color, Bare essentials, bare minerals, bare escentuals, Smashbox, shu uemura or just your basics from the drug store. These guides and books will help you immensely. What i have learned over the years is that it isn't the make-up you use, it's the proper brushes, and techniques. I could beat a face and make it look amazing with little more than the herbs and spices in my kitchen and the right brushes.I will be selling a temptu airbrush machine both the airbrush gun and the compressor with all the skin tone pigments, and about 500 brushes. which range  from $20.00 retail to $600 retail for some of my mink shu uemura brushes.  Let me know if you are interested and i will post them.
