Lot of 100+ Antiquarian Books big retail resell value Start Price USD 199.99 Current Price USD 202.50 Time Left - Bid Count 3 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, October 06, 2008 End Time Monday, October 13, 2008 Location North Ferrisburgh, Vermont See more about 'Lot of 100+ Antiquarian Books big retail resell value' Description Up for sale is a lot of 100+ antiquarian books.  They vary in age from the mid-1800s with a few as late as the 1940's, the great bulk being in the early 1900's.  The condition varies---most are what could be classed as good with many being acceptable.  There are certainly some in better shape (very good) but overall it is pretty typical of what you might expect for books in this age range.  These are for sale because we are running out of room and have decided to get out of the antiquarian part of our bookselling business.  These are all books that list on amazon, alibris, abebooks and so on.  The retail value on amazon alone where each book was listed and in the lowest or tied for the lowest price was well over $1700!  Half of them list for over $10.  By our calculations maybe 25 or so list over $20 and there are several near and over $100.  In a retail setting, I'm sure the numbers would be even better.  Someone who knows more than us (probably most anyone who is in this subset of the book business...) could do a little restoration work and really make this into something big.
