Description
I have a bulk lot of 15 Life Magazines that range in year from 1957 through 1969.  They once belonged to my in-laws and were stored in a shed for many years.  They are in varying condition but all are readable and fully intact.  I will try to describe the condition as best I can as I list them.  I will list who is on the cover, the title on the cover, the publication date, and any defects in the magazine that would be more than normal wear from use. 1) Sofia Loren, Movies' $3Million Italian Doll / Our need for smaller Atomic Arms / Our Spirited Ancestors: The Celts, May 6, 1957: Cover has creases and small tears, coming loose at the staples, cover shows quite a bit of wear. 2) The First World War, Part 1 of a new Series The First World War, March 13, 1964: Great Shape 3) Douglas MacArthur, General Douglas MacArthur 1880-1964, April 17, 1964: Some creases on the cover. 4) John Wayne, After a Bout with Cancer John Wayne is back in action, May 7, 1965: Great Shape 5) Angela Lansbury, Auntie Mame's Newest Exploit, June 17, 1966: Cover starting to loosen around staples. 6) Sirhahn, Sirhahn in Jail: An Exclusive interview and pictures, January 17, 1969: Piece cut out of cover in lower left where the address label was. 7) Woody Allen, My Secret Life with Bogart by Woody Allen, March 21, 1969: Great Shape. 8) Dwight Eisenhower, Dwight Eisenhower lies in State, April 11, 1969: Mouse has chewed the top edges on the right. 9) Joe Nameth, Behind the Nameth Affair, June 20, 1969: Great Shape. 10) Dustin Hoffman & John Wayne, Dusty and the Duke A Choice of Heroes, July 11, 1969: Great Shape. 11) Ted Kennedy, The Fateful Turn for Ted Kennedy, August 1, 1969: Great Shape. 12) Coretta King, Coretta King's moving account of life with her martyred husband, September 12, 1969: The bottom right of the cover has a long crease from being bent up. 13) Jerry Koosman, Mets in the Stretch, September 26, 1969: Cover starting to loosen around staples. 14) Paul McCartney, The Case of the 'Missing' Beatle Paul is still with us, November 7, 1969: Great Shape. 15) Charles Manson, The Love and Terror Cult, December 19, 1969: Water marks along the edges of pages 5-7.  Cover is in great shape and so is the rest of the magazine. Some of them have creases or small tears on the edges of pages.  I did not notice any writing in any of them.  I am not a collector so when I say a magazine is great or in great shape I mean it looks like it is in great shape to me, but I am not trying to grade them by whatever scale it is that collectors use.  I always try to ship the day payment is received if at all possible.  If you pay in the afternoon though it may take me until the next day to ship.  I do not ship on Saturdays because our post office is open for only a short period.  I will ship the fastest method to you that stays within the confines of the $8 paid for shipping.
