This Visionary Press edition was crude compared to the lovely Arkham House books August Derleth published; however, its importance is far greater. This copy is VG-Fine for this particular publication. The book is crudely made. The spine shows the typical wrinkling (caused, I feel, by the slightly shaken signatures) and the spine ends are curled. The covers show handling. The fixed front free end paper has the book plate of a noted collector and the front free end paper has an erased (showing abrasion) name.. Present is the rare errata sheet in fine condition. My recent email catalog listed stuff by Lovecraft, Ellison, Bradbury, Finlay, E.E.Smith (THE HISTORY OF CIVILIZATION in complete box) and the like, BUT this book was NOT listed.
