There are an additional 33 pages which include a table of contents for Section I, motor delivery routes including a map of London and many full page black & white plates picturing various products and scenes from within their factory showing various departments. There is a close up map showing their location in London, a preface with erratta slip, a photo of their building and the title and half title pages. In original leatherette binding with green outside page edges and gilt stamping on cover and spine. This extraordinary surgical catalog covers everything imagineable and is an excellent reference source for the medical or pharmaceutical collector.  It contains many medical instruments and related devices which were of the same type used during the 19th century and can be very helpful to the collector for identifying individual pieces. There are also many items which would be unique to this company.  Probably my favorite of all the medical trade literature I've seen. Though it dates a little past the 19th century publications that are so coveted, it makes up in volumne for anything it may lack in age. It has three to four times the material of earlier publications and pictures a wealth of instruments which are had changed little, if any, since the turn of the century. Condition: Fine. This is unquestionably the finest condition of any catalogue this size and age that we've seen. There are a few marks on the lower board and the corners are lightly bumped, otherwise absolutely perfect with bright unmarked pages and strong binding/hinges. It is very difficult to find a surgical catalog in such exceptional condition as most saw heay use and show the wear. An excellent reference source for the collector of medical items and a desirable collectible in itself. You'll not find a finer copy than this.
