OUR PICTURE BOOK 1940 Dick & Jane type School Teacher Click Photos to Enlarge Description up for sale here is a 1940 Teachers front of the class book called " Our Picture Book , easy growth in reading" The book has pictures to go with pre-primers like Our Story Book and Mac and Muff the book tells the story of Bob and Nancy and their mother and father and baby sister and pets ( even tho they sure do resemble Dick, Jane and Sally in the pictures to me ( the 2 girls are both blondes in both series and the boys clothes look almost alike) this family has a terrier that is all black, looks kinda like a scottie this is a front of the room teaching book for the teacher to tell the story to the children to help them understand when they begin to read the books what is going on a very interesting book with wonderful picturesthere is normal wear on this book ( see yellow has some condition issues on the 1st page also some of the pages have torn out of the spriral binding at the bottom, see pictures book was editied by Gertrude Hildreth , teachers college, Columbia University and Illustrated by Corinne Pauli Waterall measures approx 13" x 18" sold as is please ask any questions before buying Payment and Shipping must be paid for immediately if using the buy it now options, all items sold as isitems shipped mon-friday except for holidays and emergencys Affordable Auction Management and Image Hosting Solutions @ inkFrog view my other auctions below: visit my entire auction showcase
