Printed by E.B. Grandin in 1830 in Palmyra. This book does need some restoration help, I do not see that anything has ever been done to restore/conserve this book, it is in original as found condition. the problems I see with this book include some overall wear, browning, foxing & stains. (it is after all almost 180 years old) some old writing inside both covers, and a previous owners name on the top of page 307 in pencil,the group of pages from 307 to 318 are a little loose & have some wear where the strings attach to the binding. page 31 has part of the page missing (see photo) There is some light pencil writing on page 256-257 (see photo) page 529 is missing a little piece of the margin (not into the text) and has a very little tear on the page number (nothing missing) page 575/576 has a tear (see photo) a few pages have some wrinkles, the worst of which is on and around 241 (see photo) 242 also has a little tear in the cornerThe biggest problems are that 1/2 the title page is missing, There are some missing pages in the front and rear, the text starts on page 15, and ends on page 576. pages 19-30 are missing (The binding is tight & I don't  really see where the pages originally were) page 31 has a tear with part of the page missing, see the photo.The only name I can read inside the back cover is John JacksonThe book measures about 7 1/2 x 4 5/8" and weighs 1lb 2ozsI am also including a old bible, this has some loose papers in the back and it belonged to the same family that The Book of Mormon did. it is in well used condition and starts on the page that has chapter VII, VIII.  There is some writing in the back, and a couple loose pages (loose from another book) that have names and dates of people being born and when they died. One of these names is John Jackson, the only name I can read in the 1830 book. The papers say was born Nov 13th 1838. Please see the photos of the bible & the pages of names & dates.
