This book was designed by Michael McCurdy at the Penmean Press in Lincoln, Massachusetts in the Spring of 1977. Anthony Hecht translated the poem especially for the Penmaen Press, with the original French text and the English translation on facing pages. There is an Introduction by Arthur Wilson. This is the hand-bound Deluxe Edition limited to 100 copies numbered I to C in Roman numerals and SIGNED BY THE TRANSLATOR ANTHONY HECTH, ARTHUR WILSON , AND THE ILLUSTRATOR LYND WARD.
