As we want the buyer to be very pleased with this purchase and have it be better than they expected when it arrives. Overall condition is very sound; the cover has retained it's whiteness without the yellowing so common to these issues. There was a slight crease mark vertically down the center of the cover. The cover is still attached to both staples. There is a split in the spine of 2" in the center. The staples still show some brightness, however do have some minor rust, not enough to stain the cover. The back cover had a 2" crease in the lower corner, and that corner is frayed a little. We find only one tear in the issue. It is to the top of page 18. About 2"-we are providing a photo of it, however it is hard to see. The color Marilyn Monroe centerfold, Playboy's first Sweetheart as she was called is in great bright condition.  Stored in and will be shipped to you in an archival quality crystal clear Mylar sleeve, backed by an acid free backing board.
