Description
Rare, Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, Signed!!!!!! You are bidding on Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House by Eric Hodgins and illustrated by William Steig. Simon and Schuster, New York published the book copyright 1946. I believe the book is a first edition. There is neither a series of dots or asterisks beneath the copyright date nor are any additional printing indicated. On the front right endpaper is a gift note to Jack Goodman signed by the author Eric Hodgins dated December 4, 1946. It is only a hunch, but I believe Jack Goodman was a writer for Newsweek and other periodicals and newspaper and lived and worked in Salt Lake City. The interior is in very good to fine condition. The pages are tight. There are no tears or marks except for the before mentioned gift note. The cover is in fine condition. The dust jacket is in very good condition. It is not price clipped. It shows shelf wear, browning, and chips and small tears along the top and bottom edges. The book is 8 3/8” x 5 7/8” and 237 pages. This is a very rare and valuable book. Please if you need any additional information and photos, ebay message me immediately. You may pay by money order, bank check, personal check or PayPal. Insurance is suggested but not required. Not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping, if insurance is declined. Save money when you buy more than one item (lot) from us! Except in rare cases, s & h to a U. S. address via media mail in the same box is $1.00 for each additional book. International buyers, it is important that you ebay message me for S & H cost and combine shipping savings. The postal service cutbacks and rate increases have changed everything. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY EBAY STORE AND OTHER AUCTIONS!!!
