Description This is one of a select group of Shadows I am putting up on EBay all from a one - owner collection I purchased over 20 years ago. Early Shadows - 1931-1932 are very scarce in today's marketplace and I am offering 4 of the first 11 issues for a BIN or Best Offer. This is the issue dated January 1932-#6 in the series. It has one of the only two metallic ink Rozen covers featuring the Shadow as a hooded rather than with the low-brimmed hat- AND THE FIRST TIME THE SHADOW'S FACE IS SHOWN ON THE COVER!. The other issue with the same image but with a gold border instead of silver is also offered for sale. Overall this is a vg copy. Paper is decent, front cover is present but detached and spine paper is complete but for approx. 1/2" at heel and head. No tape and the silver cover-tough to find in any decent shape is relatively bright. features the Shadow tale: THE DEATH TOWER.
