Description This is one of a select group of Shadows I am putting up on EBay all from a one - owner collection I purchased over 20 years ago. Early Shadows - 1931-1932 are very scarce in today's marketplace and I am offering 4 of the first 11 issues for a BIN or Best Offer. This is the issue dated March 1932-#8 in the series. It has one of very early Rozen covers featuring the Shadow as we know him with the low-brimmed hat and cowl. This is an above average-vg+ copy. Paper is decent, front cover is nice with minor tears to the overhang, some foxing in the white background and a dealer's punch hole return after the title but nice colors, flat and with a full spine and no tape. Features the Shadow tale: THE BLACK MASTER.
