Price appropriates common and familiar images – commercials, cereal boxes, the hood of a muscle car, even jokes and cartoons -  and re-contextualizes them to reveal to us our own trends and national obsessions. On the rear is a photo of a man doing a handstand on a beach. Includes a preface by Corinne Diserens and Vicente Todoli and an interview by J.G. Ballard. Also features a chronology and bibliography, along with numerous color and black-and-white reproductions.
