Description
THE SHADOW, May 1, 1939 issue, featuring "Death's Harlequin," one of the best Shadows written by Theodore Tinsley, Walter Gibson's pinch-hitter, whose novels for this magazine often contained sex-and-sadism elements. This is perhaps his best Shadow yarn along those lines.Gorgeous copy is Fine/Fine Plus with no significant flaws, just signs of general handling. The cover was bound slightly off-center, so the back-cover overhang is slightly longer than usual and folds around the magazine by an extra eighth of an inch. But it has no tears or chips. Overall a real beauty -- clean, tight, bright.Domestic buyer pays $5.00 extra for Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping. International buyer pays $12.00 for Global Priority Mail Flat Rate. I accept Paypal, checks, and money orders. Paypal payments are expected within 24 hours; snail-mail payments must be in hand no later than ten days from auction close or item will be relisted. Important: I do not accept bids or honor Buy It Now transactions from eBay users with zero feedback. No exceptions!
