Description
The Ninth Arch is an ancient Masonic concept relating to the legend of the three Grand Masters engaged upon the erection of King Solomon’s Temples. After it was completed, the three deposited therein those things which were important to the craft, such as the arc of the covenant, a pot of manna, the rod of Aaron, the book of the law etc.’ Inscribed about it was the lost or unutterable Word.’ The purpose of Grant’s book is to explain this mystery and reveal the word.B4 you order you may be amused by the following occult infomercial: Book is NEW, unread in mint condition! It is a carrying theme in some movies, like the ninth gate, as well as in certain tales - like those by the mythoscreator H. P. Lovecraft or for that matter the literary genius Kenneth Grant himself -: the hunt for that rare occult tome with certain powers awaiting to be unlocked by the intrepid occultist. Not without danger - but with great rewards. HOW MANY BOOKS LIKE THAT EXIST ON THIS PLANE? You will not have to hire a bookhunter to get this tome. You will not have to make deals of an unspeakable kind to acquire it. Thanks to the dual wonders of globalization and the internet you can get it from me! The ninth arch is the final and crowning installment in Grants typhonian trilogies. This book is the stuff: Did you ever secretly dream of becoming a herald of the new age; someone writing something as powerful as Liber Al? Were you ever fascinated by the myths and tales about the secrets of the secret name? Do you enjoy reading a literary genious who is so awesome most occultists consider him slightly mad? Well, here is your chance! This book does contain a genuine grimoire; liber OkBish, The Book of the Spider, received in the course of a series of magical workings by the initiates of New Isis Lodge However it is something even more important: it is also one of the few (if any) books which deals with the art of assisting grimoires to manifest in our plane: it searches for readers who themselves wish to produce a grimoire of the stature of liber OkBish or uncle Al's Book of the law. Pause briefly and consider the implications of this. What may the consequences be in the coming ten or twenty years? Culturally and personally! The books title refers to a masonic idea that beneath the ninth arch in solomon's temple a certain treasure was buried. Inside this treasure was the instruction about how the most secret of words. This book was written to reveal the secret key to the pronounciation of that word This is basically as close to a necronomicon as you are ever going to get on our plane. People are sometimes shocked by the prices some are willing to pay for the rare stuff by Kenneth Grant. To me this is just an indication that they do not understand the nature of these books. First off they are real grimoires in the sense that things happen when you read them - a rare quality indeed! Do not take my word for it! Please do some reading on the internet to confirm this! (Or perhaps such reading is unnecessary as you have already read this far and thus must be knowledgeable about certain things in order to discern what I have written from the mere ramblings of a diseased mind, perhaps because you have already purveyed other tomes, like outside the circles of time or beyond the mauve zone by said author and hence experienced the magick happening just by reading - now this is not coincidence Grant is a literary genious and while he sometimes throws a boone to the rational parts of the mind his writing is DESIGNED to speak to other parts of your mind. To activate occult centra within. Deep hidden sleeping. This sets forces in motion. WHO ELSE ON THIS PLANE(T) CAN DO THAT?) Secondly: for the occultist aspiring to bringing a grimoire into being on this plane ... where else could he possibly find any sort of qualified instruction regarding such a pursuit? And ask yourself seriously how much is such knowledge worth to the serious occultist? £ 5000? £30000? 500000? What is a mans life work, which has a strong impact on an entire culture worth? (If you must consider this in monetary terms then ask yourself what is the net worth of the royalties of a REAL GRIMOIRE? though that would be a slightly vulgar way of approaching the subject) It is almost ridiculous to speak in monetary terms of this. It is sort of like asking: what is it worth to reach your life's purpose? (Now I know that some people will say that trancemitting a grimoire is not their lifes purpose. That is fine with me - perhaps this book is not for them! They are welcome to stay away from this book - in fact they do not deserve to peruse it, and much less to own it! Such occultly illiterate vulgarati are of no real concern to us. Let us just hope they leave this book be for those who are serious about their occult goals!) Fortunately some people are able to recognize rare quality when they see it. It is no coincidence the you will find his works in the list of references in many of the better works about magick. The books by Grant have the highest value for the accomplished occultist - he extends the explorations into spheres that were earlier unknown. (In fact some people may even be serious occultists and yet have no use for this book for years to come! There are many worlds to explore for any occultist. The keys to many of them are available for a few bucks in cheap paperbacks. If they do not have the money to spare - perhaps there are more important things for them to concentrate upon than the apex of occult knowledge. This of course is a consideration they themselves will ahve to make) For a select few however a book like this is a bit like the famous story by Kafka about the man who dares not enter a certain door ... and on the day he is about to die he askes the doorkeeper why during all those years noone tried to enter, and the doorkeeper answers: this door was only for one person - it was for you ... and now I am closing it. (This story is an apt illustration in more ways than one. A book opens much like a door!) I want you must consider this deeply. I only want you to convince yourself into buying this book if it will truly be worth more for you than the money! So consider seriously! But perhaps you KNOW ALREADY THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU If you are able to activate an occult text If you are willing and ready to explore new magickal territories If you are perhaps ready to take on something so large it boggles the imagination If you appreciate what few understand If you want to assist a grimoire in manifesting If you take your occult studies seriously If you enjoy the rare books If you are an author needing to do serious research If you enjoy the presens of strange things that are anomalies in our reality IF You want to pursue secret dreams. You enjoy being fascinated. You do not fear what others consider slightly mad. If indeed YOU KNOW ALREADY THAT THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU then you mighty consider how Crowley thought when he bought Boleskine - one does not haggle when it comes to important occult things - one simply pays the price gladly. Besides it is already pretty pricey, so get it now before the price reaches the upper triad. God, I hate selling invaluable stuff below future market price! But what do you do when you need cash? And you do not have to take my word for it. Since we live in a capitalist society I would not expect you to. You can easily check out how much this book demands presently by visiting bookfinder and se what others charge for it. If you find someone offering it cheaper than I do - buy it immediately! Or better yet: tip me off!!! Hardback, 603 pages, with full colour wrap-around dustjacket by Steffi Grant. The colour frontispiece is a reproduction of Austin Osman Spare's extraordinary 1955 pastel Man is a Bundle of Ids. Includes 30 black-and-white plates of weird art. First edition, published at the Winter Solstice 2002. Book is NEW, unread in mint condition! This is a must have - order now!
