[Picasso]. Texts by Teriade. Michael Leiris and Rebecca West Verve 29-30]. A Suite of 180 Drawings by Picasso, November, 28, 1953 – February, 3, 1954 New York: Harcourt, Brace, [1954]. U. S. Edition, same contents as French edition, with Verve color title page, but with additional U.S. title page inserted, same cover design with paper Harcourt dust jacket. Folio, numerous lithograph color and heliogravure black and white reproductions (previous owner preserved contents by laying in acid-free tissue guards, about fine internally). Publisher’s pictorial papered boards (spine ends bumped, crown with top inch chipped off but present, bottom inch of upper joint starting, edgewear, overall clean and bright, perhaps very good). Pictorial dust jacket (price-clipped, lacking top 2 inches at spine panel, rubbing and tiny chips to folds, minor smudges and soiling, still fairly attractive, good-very good).
