VINTAGE CORSET GIRDLE LINGERIE CATALOG SPIRELLA GARTER click picture to enlarge Wonderful Spirella Corset Catalogue that was "issued for the exclusive use of Spirella Corsetieres." Book measures 8 3/4" x 11 1/4", front/back cover is heavy brown paper with a faux leather finish, 63-pages are bound together with 2 screws (see pic). Undated but I would guesstimate 1940's-50's. Contains a spectacular array of pictures along with concise information about each type of corset. Provides great insights into how corsets were fitted to the individual. Since this book is for use by cortesieres it is, in part, a mini sales course for them. This book provides pics & descriptions for just about every figure type imagineable. It's an excellent collector's piece, not to mention a superb reference book. Book is in good vintage condition, moderate surface wear including bumped edges & light soiling. Front cover is embossed with 'Spirella' in the bottom right corner. Minor foxing to the first two pages only, all pages have age toning, 4-5 pages have notations in pencil, one crease, some useage wear to edges, pages are tightly bound, no rips/tears noted. Book has slight storage odor but nothing musty or moldy. An absolute treasure that you will be sure to enjoy!
