Description
This a beautiful Folding / Expandable Antique / Vintage Wooden Book Shelf with original patina and great caned end panels. ach caned panel is framed with two vertical English style barley twist pillars. It measures approximately 7 1/2" tall and 7 1/4" deep. It is 16 1/2" long when fully closed approximately 27" when fully expanded. We believe the wood to be mahogany but we do not know for sure. The shelf was purchased at an estate sale where many antique and vintage items were offered. The piece in the style of a Victorian turn of the Century, piece but we were not able find out for sure if it is a true antique or a later vintage reproduction of such a piece. Thee workmanship is excellent. The condition is very good with some light marks comersurate with its age. We will be glad to answer any questions you might have.
