This booklet was evaluated by a local art appraiser at a very reputalbe and established auction house and was deemed to be original as described here. The book is in good condition for it's age. The front cover is loose. All other pages are intact, and are bound by the original staples. There is a one inch tear on the back cover. A few pages on the inside have appprox. 1/2 inch tears on the edge. There are 45 pages with descriptions and prices of the complete Audubon catalogue of prints. On the front cover it reads "For sale at the low prices offered by Estes & Lauriat, 301-305 Washington Street, Boston, Mass." It also reads" Under the personal supervision of Mr. Audubon".
